Schedule Your Water Treatment EvaluationCall (918) 212-6649

Water filtration installation in Tulsa, OK starts with identifying the water problem you want to solve. Chlorine taste or odor, sediment, and hardness-related scale can vary by neighborhood, water source, and season, so the right system depends on your home’s water conditions and how you use it.

We install whole-home HALO 5 filtration and salt-free conditioning systems, along with under-sink reverse osmosis systems with an alkalinity booster. We have served homeowners throughout the Tulsa Area since 1988, bringing decades of local plumbing experience to every water treatment project.

Tulsa Metro Water Conditions Vary by Home

Water conditions can differ from one Tulsa Metro home to another, which is why the right filtration system depends on the specific concerns at your property. Water source, distribution route, season, and whether the home uses municipal or well water can all play a role. Even with treated city water, some homeowners notice chlorine taste or odor, sediment, or mineral scale on faucets, shower doors, and inside water heaters.

Water hardness and other conditions can vary from one property to another. A system that works well for one Tulsa Area home may not be the right fit for another, especially when household water use, existing plumbing, and the specific water concern are different.

Whole-home filtration treats water before it reaches showers, faucets, and appliances throughout the house, while under-sink reverse osmosis focuses on drinking and cooking water at one location. Because these systems solve different problems, we start by identifying which water concerns matter most in your home.

Whole-Home Filtration and Salt-Free Conditioning

The HALO 5 Whole House Water Filtration and Conditioning System is the whole-home system we install. It connects at the main water line rather than at a single drinking-water faucet, treating water before it is distributed to fixtures throughout the home.

The system filters water throughout the home and uses salt-free conditioning designed to help inhibit scale formation associated with hardness minerals. HALO 5 is not a traditional salt-based ion-exchange water softener. It does not use brine or require recurring softener salt.

HALO Water Systems backs the HALO 5 with a limited lifetime warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Current coverage includes 10 years on the tank, with up to one replacement, as well as 10-year coverage for the control head, HALO ION 2.0 Plus, and media, with up to one carbon boost replacement. Review the current HALO warranty terms for eligibility, limitations, and coverage details before purchasing.

That distinction matters when choosing a system. If your goal is whole-home filtration with salt-free scale conditioning, HALO 5 may be a good fit. If you are specifically looking for traditional ion-exchange softening, HALO 5 is not the same type of system, and we will explain that difference before you choose equipment.

Under-Sink Reverse Osmosis for Drinking Water

An under-sink reverse osmosis system with an alkalinity booster provides point-of-use treatment at one kitchen location. It supplies a dedicated tap for drinking, cooking, coffee, and ice.

Reverse osmosis is designed to reduce dissolved solids at the dedicated tap. It may be a good fit for Tulsa Area homeowners who want targeted treatment for drinking and cooking water rather than water treatment throughout the entire home.

Point-of-use RO does not replace whole-home filtration when concerns such as chlorine odor, sediment, or scale appear throughout the house. Filters require periodic replacement, and membrane life depends on water quality and household use. During the evaluation, we can determine whether RO makes sense on its own or should be paired with a whole-home system.

HALO 5 vs. Reverse Osmosis vs. Traditional Water Softening

HALO 5 provides whole-home filtration with salt-free conditioning, while under-sink RO targets drinking and cooking water at one location. Traditional salt-based softening uses ion exchange and is not a service we install. The table below shows the key differences.

What to Expect During a HALO 5 Installation

A HALO 5 installation begins with an on-site evaluation to confirm that your plumbing layout and proposed equipment location can support the system. Your technician reviews your water concerns, then inspects the main line and the planned installation area.

01

Review your water concerns and household needs.

We discuss water use, treatment goals, and the space available for the equipment.

02

Inspect the main water line and installation area.

Your technician confirms that the plumbing and proposed location can accommodate the system and future service access.

03

Confirm the installation requirements.

We check factors such as freeze protection, bypass access, nearby power, and suitable drain routing based on the equipment and installation location.

04

Install, flush, and review the system.

After completing the connections, your technician sets up and flushes the system, then walks you through its basic operation.
